AGE OF DISCRIMINSTION IN EGYPT.

I SUPPOSE THAT THE AGE OF DICRIMINATION HAS ALREADY STARTED. FOR MOST OF THE STORIES THOSE DAYS ARE ABOUT THE WAY THE REPRESETATIVES OF THE EGYPTIAN GOVERNMENT DEAL WITH THE CHRISTIANS.IF THEY ARE CHRISTIANS TRYING TO GET BACK TO CHRISTIANITY AFTER FORCING THEM TO ISLAM. OR IF THEY ARE MOSLIMS HAVE HAD THE GRACE TO BELIVE IN CHRIST.

IT IS EXPECTED THAT THE GOVERNMENT WOULD DENY THEIR SAVAGE ACTIONS AND PRISONING THOSE PEOPLE SO THAT THE WORLD TO BELIEVE THAT THER IS A DEMOCRACY IN EGYPT THE THING WHICH HAVE NEVER HAPPENED ALONG ALL AGES FROM THE PHARAOES TILL NOW.

WHY THIS HAPPENS ONLY IN EGYPT AND SUDAN,AND NOT IN THE OTHER ARAB COUNTRIES,WHY DO THE MOSLIMS OF EGYPT THINK THEMSELVES THE PROTECTORS OF ISLAM EVEN THEY ARE FAR AWAY FOR IT AS BELIEVERS.

IAM SURE THAT THE ISLAM AS A RELIGION INVITES PEOPLE TO BE FREE IN THEIR BELIEF,INVITES PEOPLE TLIVE IN PEACE WITH OTHERS ,AS FAR S I HEARD FROM THE OTHER MOSLIMS OR IS IT A LIE.

WHAT THEY ARE DOING NOW IS AGAINST WHAT THEY SAY ABOUT ISLAM AND THAT GIVES ANEGATIVE IMPRESSION ABOUT THIS RELIGION.

IF YOU REALLY LOVE YOUR RELIGION YOU HAVE TO FOLLOW ITS RULES AND INSTRUCTIONS SO THAT THE OTHERS CAN SEE YOUR RELIGION IN YOUR PERSONALTY.

HOW CAN YOU DIFFRENTIATE BETWEEN A CRIMINAL AND AGOOD MAN?,SIMPLY THROUGH HIS BEHAVIOUR ISIN'T TRUE?

WHAT DEMOCRACY IS THAT WHICH PREVENTS THE ONE FROM HIS RIGHTS TO BELIEVE IN THE RELIGION THAT HAS THE FAITH IN.

WHAT DEMOCRACY IS THAT WHICH PREVENTS THE PEOPLE TO PRACTICE THEIR RELIGION AND TO CONFESS PUBLICALLY THEIR BELIEFS.

HOW ABOUT:THE RELIGION IS TO GOD AND THE NATION FOR ALL.

YOU WILL READ HERE SOME EXAMPLES IN ENGLISH AND IN ARABIC.

Case 1

Ingy Nagy Edwar
Date of Birth: 24th of September 1984

We had a meeting with her brother Nagy Edwar Nagy and he wrote the story, and here it is in his own words.

On Friday 26th of September 2003, it was my sister's 19th birthday. We made a big celebration in our home in ElKom El A'khdar, El Maryouteya El Haram (near Giza).
The whole family was gathered and our friends, the day was quite good.

The next day, Saturday September 27, 2003 Ingy went out with my father. He was used to take her to the bus station where she takes the bus to Heliopolis to visit her aunt or sister living there and to stay one or two days. That day she was going to her aunt.

But, calling on her cellular phone, we found it turned off; we called at her aunt's we didn't find her, so we called all of the family members and her friends to ask about her but in vain.

For 2 days we searched for her in the hospitals from Giza to Heliopolis.
Then I went on Sunday 28th of September, 2003 to report her disappearance to the police. But, to my surprise I was badly treated in the police station.
They let me wait 4 hours before the issuance of the report, and they refused to give me its number in the same day, they gave it to me the next day.

Their behaviour was obvious to me as I knew that on Sunday 28th of September Ingy went to the same police station (it is in our geographical area), she made a declaration of the Islamic faith number 16289 El'Omraneya administrative for year 2003. Also I knew that she went to the State Security Directorate.

We knew that she is staying with a man and his wife at their home in Haram. His name is Abdel Gaber Abdel Moteleb Mohamed Kandyl.
So my father went to report his daughter's kidnapping. But he was treated in a very bad way, worse than what happened to me; given that my father is a 65 old man.
They detained him for one night, because as they showed him, Ingy put a complaint against him and Abdel Gaber also put another complaint to prevent my father's intrusion.
There were two other persons with my father, my cousin and my brother in law.
Those two persons were released after taking their ID to be sure they will come to the D.A the next day.

After going to the D.A., they had been transferred to the state security, they had been treated as accused, put them behind the bar.

At the same day, there was a hearing in Giza security directorate. We met Ingy there, she was wearing a veil, we noticed that she was not in a normal mood, she was laughing hysterically when we were crying (as we were so depressed).

They assigned October 18th for a second meeting.
Within those two weeks, we were calling her by phone, and in each phone call she was in a different mood, sometimes she was very aggressive (inconsistently with her normal personality) and some other times very quiet.

On October 18th, 2003 we went to the Security directorate, we met two priests, but Ingy didn't come.
As she said she was very sick, she was bleeding from her mouse and nose and they specified a next meeting on November 1, 2003.

We are quite sure that she is taking a kind of drugs affecting her mood and making her personality different from what we know.

There are some points which indicate that my sister Ingy is not aware of what she is doing:

1. She is in an unstable psychological status since our mother's death in September 2001 as she was deeply attached to her.
Also my eldest sister got married before our mother death and travelled to live in the United States. My other sister got married in 2002 and she is living in Heliopolis. And since that Ingy is living alone with my father and I.

2. She had a good loving relationship with the whole family

3. The family financial status is stable.

4. The day before her disappearance (on her birthday) she wanted too go with her sister to Heliopolis, which proves that she had no intention to escape the next day. But her father asked her to stay as he prepared a good meal for her.

5. Now, she is going through a hard time, she told me by phone she wants to commit suicide.

Also there are some legal points to take into consideration:

1- The declaration of Islam, as marriage are following the civil law, so it is illegal to be done before the age of 21 (or without the permission of her father if it is done before that age)

2- There is no reason or a legal connection permitting her staying at this man's house.

So:

How the police station and the security directorate and the state security accept to protect such a case and going on in its procedures while all these procedures are illegal.
The declaration of Islam is following the civil law not the criminal law (in the criminal law a person is treated as mature at the age of 18).
Which law accepts that her own parents are not allowed to see her?

Case 2

Falsification of documents and evangelism:

Name of the husband: Mohamed Ahmed Imam Kordy
Working as an employee in El Azhar. Changed his name to Youssef Samuel Makary Soliman

His wife: Sahar ElSayed Abdel Ghany
Changed her name to: Mariam Guirguis makar

They have two daughters.

They had been arrested on Saturday 18th October 2003 in Alexandria.
On the 20th of October they had been transferred to Cairo where they were subject to a severe torture. The minute number is 3793/ 2003 Administrative ElMosky.

They went to the D.A on Wednesday 22nd of October 2003. Legally the accused should be transferred to the D.A. within 24 hours from the date of being arrested; which made their detention procedures all illegal.

In the D.A. they said that they didn't know that changing their ID was illegal, as they see all the Christians embracing Islam change their ID, so they thought this was permitted also for Muslims embracing Christianity.

They are subject to torture: being blow-up, beaten, hanged and they are not allowing them to receive any food.

There is some information those 12 others converts had been arrested yesterday, also for falsification of documents.
We are still trying to have more details.

Case 3

Name: Aziz Zakhary Armanios

A Christian employee in the security directorate in Beny swef (Upper Egypt).
They renew his detention for 45 days.
He helped in the issuance of the falsified ID for 2800 converts. He was arrested in Cairo.
Another employee called Samir Sa'ad employee in the civil records in Dokki (Cairo) had been tortured until he confessed the name of some of the converts.

Comments:

Now... after what is happening we think the best action could be an international pressure to permit the change of ID for the Muslims embracing Christianity as many of them were saying : we thought it was normal as it is accepted for the Christians embracing Islam .

The International organizations should move in that direction, not only to release those people but to change the law.
